ABA Advocacy
Families across New York are speaking up.
ABA therapy gives children the tools they need to communicate, build independence, and participate more fully in their homes, schools, and communities. For many families, these services are essential to their child’s progress and quality of life.
Proposed Medicaid cuts threaten access to ABA for the children who rely on it most.
We are grateful to the families who are sharing their stories and helping advocate for continued access to care. Their voices matter.
Group Photo: In Albany advocating alongside New York State Association for Behavior Analysis (NYSABA) and Council of Autism Service Providers (CASP) to protect and expand access to Applied Behavior Analysis services across New York. As a woman-owned provider serving a high number of Medicaid families, we see firsthand how critical these services are for communication, independence, and daily living skills.
Recent changes to Medicaid funding are already impacting access, with many families facing extended wait times for care. Our goal is to ensure that services remain available, sustainable, and accessible for the children and families who rely on them.
Families play an essential role in this process. You can contact your local Senator and Assemblymember to share your experiences and advocate for continued access to ABA services. Personal stories and direct outreach make a meaningful impact in helping legislators understand the real-life importance of these services in their communities.
