Direct ABA Therapy

ABA therapy uses a series of techniques that rely on understanding the source of a behavior and then either reinforcing or disincentivizing the behavior. Decisions on progress are made by studying data collected on skill development and target behaviors. We seek to break big skills down into smaller, teachable steps to help our clients reach their personal goals. Sessions take place in-home and are typically 2-4 hours in length and are led by a behavior technician specifically trained in ABA. A licensed behavior analyst creates and supervises all treatment plans and behavior plans. Your analyst will provide supervision of the technicians to ensure treatment integrity.

Parent Training

Parent training and ongoing support is provided by a licensed behavior analyst. Parents will have their own goals and receive hands-on training in the areas of ABA techniques, behavior training, and any personal concerns.

Consultation

A behavioral consultation provides an initial level of ongoing support for our clients, their families, and our community.  These consultations can be provided by your licensed behavior analyst through observations, functional behavior assessments, and behavior implementation plans. They help streamline the treatment of a client, ensuring all team members are on the same page. Consultation can take place in a school, daycare, or community setting. Please note that consultations are only contract-based, and schools may have a contract with an LBA without a specific client in mind. Contact us for more information!

Social Skills Opportunities

Social Skills Groups provide an opportunity for our clients to gain skills in social interaction. Navigating and learning how to be successful in social situations can be a difficult process for some individuals. With the help of a supervising facilitator, individuals can learn skills relating to conversation, friendship, and problem-solving in a safe, comfortable environment. Our social skills groups will be led by Clinical Supervisor Tara Kreymer, BCBA-LBA. We are still working to build a consistent schedule, please contact us for more information!
