Our board certified behavior analysts (BCBA's), also Licensed Behavior Analysts (LBA's) in NYS, are knowledgeable and experienced. Our tenures include individuals of all ages, diagnoses, and backgrounds. We each have experience in the home setting, school setting, clinic setting, and community setting. We have a passion to help kids and families meet their goals!

All of our behavior analysts have years of experience in the field. They are also all members of the BACB, NYSABA, and APBA. We also follow CASP guidance for quality care.

Shannon Carr
I am a licensed behavior analyst and certified school psychologist with over 15 years of experience in behavior analysis. As owner of Living Soul NY ABA, PLLC, have worked with individuals aged 2 to 80 across various settings. My background includes roles as a clinical director, supervisor, and professor allowing me to share my experience and collaborate with other professionals for comprehensive client care. I am passionate about applied behavior analysis and its role in helping individuals reach their full potential.

Jessica Hovey
I hold a Master's in Exceptional Education from Buffalo State College, an ABA Course sequence from FIT, and 30 additional graduate credits in Educational Leadership. I'm a BCBA and LBA in, certified for Elementary Grades 1-6 and Special Education Birth-Grade 6. I have experience as an Early Intervention and SEIT provider, and since 2017, I've worked as a school-based behavior across various districts, creating behavioral and educational plans for children with diverse diagnoses.

Casey Mazzola
I am a board certified and licensed behavior analyst. I received my masters in experimental psychology from Rochester Institute of Technology and completed my BCBA coursework at the University of Rochester. I have over 10 years of experience providing behavior support to adults with developmental disabilities in day programs and residential settings. I have also worked with children of various ages, both in-home and in the school setting. My main passion is supporting people who exhibit challenging behaviors and helping them improve their communication skills and learn new ways to meet their wants and needs.

Diana Esselburn
My career began with a master's in Public Health focused on Infectious Disease Epidemiology. A transformative experience as a one-to-one aide for a student with autism ignited my passion for supporting individuals with developmental and behavioral needs. Over 11 years, I've worked as a teacher’s assistant, care coordinator, behavior technician, and behavior consultant, and a behavior coordinator. As a newly certified Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and a parent of a child with special needs, I am dedicated to fostering an inclusive environment where every child can thrive.

Heather Eckstrom
I am a Board Certified and Licensed Behavior Analyst. I received my masters in Foundations of Behavioral Science, and completed my BCBA coursework. I have over 8 years of experience providing behavior support to children with developmental disabilities in the home and school settings. I worked in the behavior field as a registered behavior technician, an agency positive support professional, and a behavior consultant. I am dedicated to helping children grow and reach their goals, despite challenging behaviors.

Mackenzie Jaquith
I am a Licensed Behavior Analyst (LBA) and Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) in New York with over 19 years of experience with individuals with disabilities. I started as a Certified Nursing Assistant and earned my Master’s in Applied Behavioral Analysis. I have worked in various settings, including schools, clinics, and adapted to telehealth during the pandemic. I am a breast cancer survivor. I am a dedicated and hardworking individual who believes there are endless possibilities

I am a GP - Licensed Behavior Analyst with a B.S. in Speech-Language Pathology from Utah State University and an M.S. in Behavior Analysis from Arizona State University. My experience includes working as a Job Coach and Residential Manager for adults with developmental disabilities and coaching Special Olympics for ages 5 to adult. I am passionate about using evidence-based strategies to empower individuals and promote skill growth.
