Diana Esselburn
My career journey began with a master's degree in Public Health and focus on Infectious Disease Epidemiology. While searching for opportunities in that field, a transformative experience working as a one-to-one aide for a student with autism sparked a passion that would redefine my career path. I realized that I wanted to dedicate my life to supporting individuals with developmental, intellectual, and behavioral needs.
Over the past 11 years, I have gathered experience across various roles, including teacher’s assistant, care coordinator, behavior technician, and behavior consultant. As a Behavior Coordinator for high-behavior need clients throughout New York State, I have honed a skill set that blends compassion with actionable strategies to help children thrive.
In July 2024, I proudly became a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), further solidifying my expertise in behavior analysis. Yet, I believe that the most valuable lessons come from real-life experiences. As a dedicated parent of a child with special needs, I bring a unique perspective that fosters a deeper understanding and connection with children and families navigating similar journeys.
I am committed to creating a supportive, inclusive environment where every child can reach their potential. With warmth, empathy, and a wealth of knowledge, I look forward to making a positive impact in the lives of individuals with special needs and their families.

I am a Board Certified Behavior Analyst and have a Master of Science in Applied Behavior Analysis and Autism. My experience expands over 17 years working in the human services industry and 10 of those years as a behavior analyst. During that time, I have had many different roles which include direct support, crisis intervention, clinical analysis, and administration. I really feel that this experience has allowed me to gain a more holistic and comprehensive skill set when helping others. Ultimately, I enjoy supporting others through the use of applied behavior analysis so that they can be more independent in the future. I am committed to finding ways for individuals to reach their goals no matter how challenging that may be.
